Top Four
This week we see John Newman leapfrog the duo of Richard Ashcroft & Liam Gallagher to take top spot by just a handful of extra DJ downloads. John, owner of one of the most distinctive voices, writer and performer of some of the biggest anthems including 3 number 1 singles, marks his very welcome return with the release of his brand-new single ‘Waiting For A Lifetime’.
Produced by John himself, he’s leant on his close network of DJ pals to assist, with Sigala co-producing the single. It really is a killer record, destined to succeed in the world of sport!
The Sherlocks also continue to put pressure on at third, picking up masses of downloads from DJs at the likes of Celtic, Ipswich, West Ham and their boyhood club, Sheffield Wednesday.

Mid-Table
Quite literally bang on middle of the pack, we have four men who are no strangers to the Stadium Chart. Stereophonics are back with their latest single, ‘Forever’.
‘Forever’ follows the previously released ‘Hanging On Your Hinges’ and ‘Do Ya Feel My Love?’, which received widespread national radio support added to A lists across all key networks, and has now received over 2 million streams across all platforms. The former also featured on our stadium chart for a number of weeks back in 2021.
Best Of The Rest
There’s also movement lower down from fellow Welsh rockers, Feeder. Their latest release, ‘Wall of Silence’ entered the chart last week and has since jumped four places thanks to recognition from DJs at Hearts, Liverpool, Rotherham and more!
Notable Entries
– FRANZ FERDINAND – ‘Curious’
