James Worthy had formerly spent most of his career working in the studio with some of the greatest names in R&B music.

After Covid-19 had destroyed tour plans in 2019, the American Top 10 Billboard charting record artist is back with his a hotly awaited single – and it’s already dominating the charts.

The Concrete Jungle hitmaker released See It My Way which was available for download worldwide on Friday, March 25.

As of Saturday, the track which features Show Me Love songstress Robin S proved to be popular and shot straight in at number one on iTunes.

The Hip Hop star from New York is trying to bring a fresh new spin with his latest dance and R&B infused song.

James first began his music journey at the age of 11 after he’d been lucky enough to meet with the King of Pop, Michael Jackson backstage at a concert.

Recalling the empowering moment, the budding record producer explained that the Thriller star had told him he would one day be “influential in the entertainment industry”.

Jackson co-signed James and kick-started his musical career as a record producer and songwriter.

His extensive resume, includes working with Justin Bieber, 6LACK, Truth Hurts, Bobby Brown, Whitney Houston, Fetty Wap, PM Dawn, Ceelo Green, J. Holiday, Drag-On, Kurupt, Frankie Beverly, Robin S, CeCe Peniston, Jhonni Blaze, Asian Doll, Goodie Mob, and many others.

In recent years, James has released 2 EPs and several successful singles.

His latest hit entitled “Tick Tock” which features Big Gipp of Goodie Mob stormed the charts and amassed 3 Million streams, and counting.

James had grown up with Bobby Brown Jr – the son of the Every Little Step hitmaker and his former partner Kim Ward.

On November 18 2020, James’ world changed forever when his best friend Bobby was found dead in his Los Angeles home – with the combined effects of alcohol, cocaine and the powerful opioid fentanyl believed to be the cause of his tragic passing.

Reports concluded that Bobby Brown Jr had died from an accidental overdose with the Los Angeles County coroner’s report detailing “history of alcohol and drug use”.

James now hopes to pay tribute to his childhood friend ensuring that his legacy continues through his own music.
